There is at least six inches in the drive, Hal's bus just gave up so he never went to school., Jodie has just been picked up and Harry is walking into the city center to see if he can get some Yak Trax then hoping for a bus. I'm going to do a Tesco order and see if they can get up our hill.

The forecast is heavy snow for the next 18 hours. At least I've got plenty of books and tea.

Fans hoarding books can have it's ups but on the other hand, there's always the Kindle! ;0)

Kindles don't make such good insulation.

FYI, Olivia's car is snowed under; but she just saw a bus going down the hill!

Sounds like Leeds now has it as bad as Edinburgh.

Himself has just walked home from near Crown Point and will post his epic journey when he's thawed out. Judging by the footprints he left on the front steps we've had 2-3 inches since 11.30

I had fun walking to work in my wellies. Unfortunately their grip was too good so I failed to skate on the slippery bits,in spite of trying!
